IVANKA TRUMP is now the unofficial First Daughter of the US, also holding the title of senior advisor to the president. But she was once a socialite and model, with a host of celebrity friends. Her wedding in 2009 was a star-studded occasion, but is she still on good terms with her former guests?
Ivanka Trump, 36, is the daughter of US president Donald Trump.
Since her father’s presidential inauguration she has become deeply embedded in politics, even holding the title of senior adviser to the president.
But long before her father held office, she had career as a model, actress and was a New York socialite, racking up a host of celebrity friends.
In fact, her 2009 wedding to real estate-investor Jared Kushner, 37, was a star-studded affair.
With so many things having changed since her lavish nuptials, is Ivanka still on speaking terms with her celebrity friends that attended her wedding?
The lavish wedding was held in October at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
There were 500 guests that attended the wedding, many being very high-profile.
Among the guests were Barbara Walters, Rupert Murdoch, Regis Philbin, Anna Winter, Russell Crowe and Natalie Portman.
One former friend of Ivanka’s that attended the wedding and is believed to not be on speaking terms with the first daughter is Hollywood actress Emmy Possum.
The two were once close friends, with Ivanka referring to Emmy in an interview with Hamptons Magazine as a “good friend”.
However, since her father’s presidency the two appear to not be on speaking terms, with Emmy publicly criticising the Trump family on social media.
On her Twitter account Emmy even came after Ivanka, retweeting an article from The Cut that criticised her former friend.
Another celebrity that is reported to not be on speaking terms with Ivanka is fashion stalwart Anna Wintour.
The fashion editor was a guest at Ivanka’s wedding, but things could now be awkward as Anna has banned her father Donald Trump from the Met Gala.
One Hollywood star who attended the 36-year-old’s wedding and still remains on good terms with her is Hugh Jackman.
The two reportedly go way back, and are often spotted together catching up a trendy restaurants in New York, most recently in June.
While her relationship with Jackman appears to be intact, her friendship with Natalie Portman may have suffered.
The actress, and Hilary Clinton campaigner, was a close friend of, and even went to Harvard with Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, often spending time with Ivanka.
However in an interview on the Late Show in June, Natalie accused Jared of turning into a “super villain.”
When asked about her relationship with the Trumps, she said: “Unfortunately, there’s not a lot funny to say about someone you were friends with becoming a super villain.”
